This return policy is designed to provide clear guidelines regarding returns of merchandise purchased from Morus Wheels within 30 days of delivery. After 30 days, our standard limited warranty applies. Consumers should contact the authorized Morus Wheels dealer where they purchased their wheels for any return or warranty-related inquiries. All returned items are subject to a detailed inspection.
Return Period and Fees: Returns will be accepted within 30 days of the dealer's delivery date from Morus Wheels. A restocking fee of up to 20% may be applied to cover expenses such as shipping costs, credit card transaction fees, and handling.
Return Requirements and Restrictions: Please note the following requirements and restrictions for all returns:
- Prior Authorization: Customer Service must be contacted prior to any return. (Dealers: Please ensure your customers contact Customer Service before initiating a return.)
- Complete Packaging: All original packaging, manuals, documents, etc., must be included with the returned merchandise.
- Undamaged Packaging: The returned merchandise must be received in its original packaging, and the packaging must be intact and undamaged. Absence of the original package will void the guarantee.
- Unmodified Condition: Returned merchandise cannot be damaged or altered in any fashion. Failure to meet this requirement will void the guarantee and warranty.
- Unmounted Wheels: Returned wheels must not have been previously mounted.
- Shipping Responsibility: The customer is responsible for return shipping and insurance fees. Uninsured items damaged in shipping will void the guarantee.
- Restocking Fee: Returned wheels that are functional, undamaged, and free of defects may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. If, upon evaluation, the item is found to have signs of wear, cosmetic blemishes, missing parts, or damage of any kind, the cost to recondition the item will be deducted from the refund due.
- Refund Details: The refunded amount will consist of the invoice amount of the item, less the restocking fee (if applicable). Original charges for shipping, handling, etc., will not be refunded.
Shipping Damage
In the unfortunate event that your shipment arrives damaged, it's crucial to act quickly. Consumers must contact the authorized Morus Wheels dealer where they purchased the wheels within 48 hours of receiving the shipment to report the damage. The dealer will then initiate the claim process with Morus Wheels.
When contacting the dealer, please be prepared to provide the following information:
- Detailed description of the damage.
- Photographic evidence of the damage.
- Keep all original packaging material for carrier inspection.
The dealer will work with Morus Wheels to arrange for the damaged merchandise to be inspected and returned. Please do not return the damaged merchandise directly to Morus Wheels without prior authorization from your dealer.
Damage Caused by Customer
Morus Wheels, through its authorized dealers, cannot accept returns or exchanges for any product that has been damaged by the customer. Any damage resulting from customer misuse, accident, neglect, improper installation, or modification will void any applicable warranty. This includes, but is not limited to, missing parts or products rendered unsellable due to customer tampering. Consumers should contact their authorized Morus Wheels dealer for any warranty concerns related to potential manufacturing defects.
Exchanges
Morus Wheels, through its authorized dealers, offers exchanges under certain conditions. All exchange requests must be initiated through the authorized Morus Wheels dealer where the original purchase was made.
Incorrect Item Shipped: If the incorrect item was shipped, Morus Wheels will exchange the product for the correct item as identified on the original order. The following conditions apply:
- Prior Authorization: Customer Service must be contacted prior to any exchange. (Dealers: Please ensure your customers contact Customer Service before initiating an exchange.)
- Complete Packaging: All original packaging, manuals, documents, etc., must be included with the returned merchandise.
- Undamaged Packaging: The returned merchandise must be received in its original packaging, and the packaging must be intact and undamaged. Absence of the original package will void the exchange.
- Unmodified Condition: Returned merchandise cannot be damaged or altered in any fashion. Failure to meet this requirement will void the exchange, guarantee, and warranty.
- Shipping Costs (Incorrect Item): Morus Wheels will be responsible for return shipping and insurance fees in cases where the incorrect item was shipped.
Customer Preference Exchange (Within 48 Hours): If you are not satisfied with the appearance of your wheels, you may exchange them for another wheel of equal value, subject to the following conditions:
- Notification Within 48 Hours: You must contact your authorized Morus Wheels dealer within 48 hours of receiving the merchandise to report that you wish to exchange it due to preference.
- Customer Responsibility for Costs: The customer is responsible for all shipping charges (to and from the dealer), any difference in price between the original and exchanged items, and all applicable duties and taxes. If the exchange involves a wheel and tire combo, a mounting and balancing fee (as determined by the dealer) will also apply.
- No Exchanges on Custom Items: There are no exchanges on merchandise that has been customized to meet the customer's application requirements.
